Lily Graham Bio

MPaff, Grant Consultant

Lily Graham serves as a Nonprofit Consultant for Building Promise USA. Lily helped craft the original One Stop Shop Pilot Initiative grant in 2021 which designated BPUSA as the central reentry service provider for Travis County. Since then, she has been a dedicated volunteer in creating standard operating procedures, crafting the formation of our HIRE events, taking charge of grant writing efforts, and helping support the larger vision of our organization and watching its success grow. Her growth in her passion for BPUSA transitioned her service into a professional role for the agency, and an instrumental part of ongoing operations.

Lily received her Master’s of Public Affairs degree from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs from the University of Texas in Austin in 2020. She has always had a passion for reentry services and became involved with the Austin/Travis County Reentry Roundtable while in graduate school, providing research and data expertise and consolidating reports on release trends for individuals being released in Travis County to inform service providers. Her professional background is in low-income housing, as she worked for the Housing Authority of the City of Austin for five years in case management and compliance. Lily works full-time at LifeWorks providing grants compliance and support for internal programs that provide wrap-around services for youth and young adults.

Lily is excited to continue to bolster the success of BPUSA and expand her consulting network and skills to support nonprofits to meet their capacity-building goals.
